Apparently Mr. Obama has never heard this bit of advice from Pope Paul VI, or he just doesn’t believe it, or he and his party just doesn’t care!
“All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life.”
– Pope Paul VI –
These words are proving more and more true with every passing day and every new person forced (or persuaded) onto food stamps, welfare or any other government handout program, because of policies of that same government.
I, along with so many others, firmly believe that it is NOT the governments place to provide for all, from cradle to grave. Of course, there are some who absolutely need some help, and they should get that help.
First from private charities, and if there is no help forthcoming, or not enough help, then from the government’s safety-net.
Under this president it would appear as if he and those in his camp are doing a tremendous amount to make sure that a sizable portion of the population cannot or does not provide for themselves, and are completely dependent on the government for their lives.
As Pope Paul VI said, “All life demands a struggle.”
It’s just too bad that now that struggle must be harder than it should have been!
Maybe America’s Next President will respect the Constitution a good deal more, and help, rather than hinder the American People in their struggle!
Only “We, The People,” can make sure that will happen.
Thanks for stopping by today and sharing a bit of your day with us. We really do appreciate it.
