Dems want to increase the Debt Limit…Again!

Did you hear the latest out of Washington D.C. and our Government?

Timothy Geithner and Barack Obama discuss things, possibly even the upcoming debt ceiling issue!

Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner and the Obama administration is already pushing for a higher debt ceiling.  Remember last year when we went through all the threats of a government shut-down, and Obama threatened (in an off-handed way) to withhold social security and veterans checks?  Well, get ready for more of the same!

Geithner has already fired a shot across the Republicans bow saying, ““We hope they do it without the drama and the pain and the damage they caused the country last July…”

The amazing thing to me is that the amount of “pain and drama” caused is shared more by the Dems than the Repubs, based on Obama’s 2008 campaign promises to get government spending under control and get the budget balanced!  (A little side note to all those throwing dollars at Obama because of his “stance on gay marriage”, beware and pay attention to his actions, both past and present, not just his words!  It would appear as if lies have been told to nearly every “group” or “division” of American society.)  The Republicans that supposedly caused all this “pain and drama” were elected to slow down and reverse the out-of-control government spending, not to go along with whatever the President wanted. So Easy, Even a Game Show Host Can Do It!

Do you know who Chuck Woolery is?   Have you ever seen the show Love Connection?

Well, the host of the show is Chuck Woolery and in this video he gives a real quick explanation of why we really do need to VOTE OUT ALL OF THE CAREER POLITICIANS!

As Newt Gingrich famously said “The Super Budget Committee is the Dumbest Idea I’ve Ever Heard!”

The “super budget committee has had a few months to find only 1.2 Trillion dollars in “budget cuts”…spread over 10 years!  So really they only had to find 120 Billion each year for ten years.  And they really weren’t even looking for budget cuts.  In their lingo, they were actually looking for reductions in the rate of proposed increase.  That’s right, they weren’t actually trying to cut any programs or any approved budgets.

Watch this video and you’ll see just how hard it was for a game show host to figure this out… shows you just how screwed up our political system is!
