Gingrich is the Front Runner Now
22 Nov 2011 by Todd Johnson for AmericasNextPresident.com
According to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, Newt Gingrich is the new front runner among the republican contenders in the race to be Americas Next President. The 2012 presidential election is shaping up to be quite a barn-burner!
iLess than 3 weeks ago, the leader was Herman Cain, with Mitt Romney in second and Newt was solidlyn 4th or 5th. Today, Newt Gingrich is now the Leader with, you guessed it, Mitt Romney in second and Herman Cain is now in third.
“What happened?”, you might ask. Well, Mr. Cain is being affected by unconfirmed and unsubstantiated stories of sexual harassment while at the National Restaurant Association, Mitt Romney hasn’t been able to get above the 25% mark and Newt Gingrich has done extremely well in recent debates and appearances. Also, his prophesy regarding the Super Committee on the Budget Deficit has come true! It certainly was a Dumb Idea!

Herman Cain is smiling because he is the man with a plan! Will his plan hold water...that's the main question.
This was Haley Barbour’s advice to Herman Cain concerning the allegations that he was accused, possibly of sexual harassment (we don’t know because of confidentiality agreements signed by those involved) by at least two women under his employ at the National Restaurant Association during the 1990′s.
“What are the facts?” asked Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour on MSNBC. “If you have a confidentiality agreement that keeps the public from finding out something that the public is interested in knowing the facts, you ought to go on and get the facts out.” (more…)
Cain, Romney and Obama in a Virtual Tie

Hi and Welcome back,
Why is Herman Cain smiling today? Herman Cain is smiling because he is the man with a plan, and his plan seems to be gaining traction!
Did you hear? In the latest Quinnipiac poll, Herman Cain has pulled into a virtual 3 way tie with Mitt Romney and Barack Obama in the race to become Americas Next President! Yes, it’s the same Herman Cain that has proposed overhauling the tax code and the IRS with his “999″ plan. He seems to have hit some nerves and caught the attention of the electorate. Herman claims this plan would help alleviate the budget shortfall, eliminate capital gains tax, the death tax, and when combined with making the federal government the “right size”, will eat into and eventually do away with the national debt.
There are still those that say he can’t be president because he doesn’t have any experience. Some of those same people are attacking Mr. Cain’s “999″ plan as unworkable because it’s too simple. His argument is the government is too complicated and too involved in each and every persons life, therefore it needs to be downsized and simplified.
After Monday night’s Republican Presidential Debate and the other candidates going after him because of his new front-runner status, Mr. Cain said “You know you must be doing something right when so many are shooting arrows in your back.” “This is the first time arrows have felt this good!” (more…)
Hard for the Mainstream Media to Ignore Herman Cain any Longer!

It is impossible for the media to ignore Herman Cain Any Longer!
After 3 consecutive straw poll wins (2 of them were blowouts!) and a viable plan to both raise revenue and cut our tax rates, Herman Cain is creating quite a problem for the mainstream media these days!
Have you given any consideration to Mr. Cain’s tax and revenue plan? He calls it the 999 plan. “What does 999 stand for?”, you may be asking yourself.
The plan is to reduce corporate taxes to 9%, and reduce personal taxes to a flat 9%…and create a 9% national sales tax. By doing this, Mr. Cain says it would nearly immediately do away with the approximately $430 BILLION drag on the economy that is compliance, enforcement, collection activities, etc… (more…)
Freedom Not Worth Having

“Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.” – Mahatma Gandhi
When you combine this idea with George Washington’s warning against putting party before country, well it’s not too hard to see that as a nation, the United States has veered dramatically from the course our founding father’s set for the it.
They created a nice plan, including rules to run the government with, and the people we have elected, or allowed to be elected, just couldn’t bring themselves to follow that plan! Maybe America’s Next President will get us moving back in the direction of the intended path! (more…)

Hi and Welcome back!
I wanted to ask you a question today.
“Ok, what is it that you want to ask?”, I hear you saying to yourself.
The question is, What do you think of the current field of Presidential candidates?
Are you pretty excited about any of the folks that have declared “I would like to be President of the United States!”
There have already been a fair amount of people declare that they are in it to win it.
Republican Debate in Greenville, South Carolina
Hi,
Good to see you’ve come back…thank you!
In the spirit of America’s Next President, I was just wondering if you watched the Republican debate (either live or taped) from Greenville, South Carolina?.
The combatants were Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum and Herman Cain.
If you did watch it, please sign in and let us know what your thoughts are.
Some of my thoughts are as follows;
Herman Cain made big gains in all areas of his campaign. The focus group with Frank Luntz sure thought so too! I thought the line of the night belonged to Cain when he said that “I’m proud of the fact that I’ve never held public office. All those politicians in Washington have held public office before they got to the capital and How’s That Working Out for YOU?”, (I don’t have the quote in front of me, so please excuse if I’ve paraphrased just a bit!). Who do YOU want as Americas Next President?
Hi and thanks again for stopping by today!
I wanted to ask all that come here, Who is that YOU would like to see become Americas Next President?
Are you happy with Mr. Obama or do you want someone else?
If you want someone else, who do you want? Or…
What qualities are you looking for in the next president?
There are several names being tossed around as possible challengers for the office, but none have confirmed they are running yet except for Herman Cain!
Is Mr. Cain someone you would vote for? If so, who would you like to see as his running mate?
I know, I know, lots and lots of questions already and you just got here! Well, let’s start up the dialogue by you registering and leaving a comment below. If we start getting enough comments then we’ll install a forum (probably both a public and private one) so we can really get things moving along.
Remember, the 2012 presidential election is only 18 months away, so let us know what your thoughts are and together, maybe we can fix all the problems with the country starting with the president you want!
Thanks again for stopping by and we are all looking forward to reading your comments about Americas Next President!
