Presidential Elections

3 Contests, 3 Wins for Romney
americasnextpresident.com
This U.S. flag is flying proudly in the breeze. Yesterday was the third (3rd) of April, 2012 and the day Washington, D.C., Maryland and Wisconsin all held their Republican Primary elections.  Given the states (and district) this should come as no surprise, but Mitt Romney won all three elections...and by pretty comfortable margins! Let's recap the Washington D.C. primary first: Romney was chosen on 70%  of the ballots, with Ron Paul getting 12% and Newt Gingrich garnered 11%.  Rick S [...]

Dave Mustaine from Megadeath Talks About Obama and Santorum
americasnextpresident.com
Obama Speaking from The President's Podium Here is something that a lot of political types will find really odd...ironic even! Do you know who Dave Mustaine is?  How about the bands Megadeath or Metallica? Dave used to be in Metallica until a very nasty and public breakup and he is a founding member of Megadeath.  (more…) [...]

Romney’s Super-Pac Issues Misleading Ads in Wisconson
americasnextpresident.com
The Super-Pac "Restore Our Future" has begun airing a new ad in Wisconson in denigration of Rick Santorum, not in support of anything Mitt Romney has done.   The ad in question shows Rick Santorum speaking from behind a microphone, saying "I don't care what the unemployment rate is going to be."  On the surface it sounds pretty bad and here is the ad so you can hear it for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uXuALzgCs6o Now, the real problem with the ad [...]

Illinois belongs to Romney!

This U.S. flag is flying proudly in the breeze. The State of Illinois held their 2012 primary elections on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 and believe it or not, Mitt Romney won the lion's share of the vote for Republican delegates, with 46.7% (430,535 votes) vs. 35% (322,831 votes) for Rick Santorum, allowing Mitt to add to his delegate lead.  Ron Paul received 85,872 votes, which equates to 9.3% of the vote and Newt Gingrich garnered 73,362 or roughly 8% of the vote. This now gives Romney 552 d [...]

Rick Santorum Sings Sweet Home Alabama
americasnextpresident.com
This U.S. flag is flying proudly in the breeze. Well, not really, at least not that we've heard...but it wouldn't surprise us at all after the primary voters today in both Alabama and Mississippi chose Rick Santorum over Newt, Mitt and Ron. Yes, it's true.  In the race for the 2012 Presidential election, Rick Santorum made up some ground on Mitt Romney and put some distance between he and Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Now, to be fair, these were not blowout type victories, but they were [...]

Michigan and Arizona belong to Romney
americasnextpresident.com
The Race for the White House is On In the 2012 race to be Americas Next President, Arizona was an easy victory for Mitt Romney, as none of the other candidates really even campaigned there.  Romney won the 29 delegates that state had to offer. Michigan had 30 delegates, and they are to be apportioned according to the vote received by the top two candidates.  Since Rick Santorum took about 38% of the total vote, and Romney won 41%, we can guess that the split will be about 14 for Santorum [...]

americasnextpresident.com
South Carolina surprises Mitt and the mainstream pundits by giving Newt Gingrich 40 percent of the vote! The Race is Still Romney's...this was a headline in the National Journal on Friday, January 20, 2012. Completely delusional is what I say! At the moment the race for Americas Next President is still Wide Open!!! I don't know if you're aware of this already, but Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina primary vote on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in a fairly convincing manner, with just over 4 [...]
