Presidential News for February 22, 2013

Welcome to the News for the President of the United States.  Today is Friday, February 22, 2013, and it is the 53rd day of the year.  Since your time is very valuable, we should get right to the stories of the day.

Harlem Shake (Barack Obama Edition), by Alphacat on Youtube.

CCJ Files Brief in Establishment Clause Case.  I applaud Claremont for this and I agree, there needs to be a big dose of common sense applied here.

Lance Armstrong is now getting sued by the U.S. Justice Department.   Oh sure, now the government wants to cut down on bad expenditures and recoup some of “it’s” money!   The Justice Department says it wants the government’s money back.   It still has not sunk in to them that it’s OUR Money, not theirs.

U.S. grounds entire F-35 fighter fleet after cracked engine blade found in plane.   ‘The F-35 is the Pentagon’s most expensive weapons program at a total estimated cost of nearly $400 billion. The Pentagon envisions buying more than 2,400 F-35s, but some members of Congress are balking at the price tag.’   One would hope this crack was included in the price of the plane, and not some sort of an upgrade!

Republicans May Have Found A Brilliant Way To Win The Sequester.   ‘…and forces the Obama administration to determine — and take ownership — of the spending cuts.’
